Dec 12, 2008 (newstodate): Any EU airline can now operate flights between any EU member
state and Armenia, following the official signing of an EU-Armenia aviation agreement.
The agreement recognizes that airlines in the EU are not any longer national airlines, and all of them will thus have non-discriminatory access to the air transport market between the EU and Armenia.
The agreement is EU's 35. horizontal agrement with partner states.
Armenia's most important air traffic markets are France, Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic.
