Nov 14, 2008 (newstodate): Irish LCC Ryanair is mulling plans for future transatlantic flights from Sweden's Stockholm Skavsta Airport.
Speaking at a press conference in Stockholm, the carrier's CEO confirmed that Ryanair want to see the opening of low-cost flights from Stockholm Skavsta to destinations on the US east coast.
Realisation of the plan would require the build-up over some years of a fleet of long-haul aircraft currently not in the fleet of Ryanair.
