Nov 17, 2008 (newstodate): The Russian airline Region-Avia has plans for a significant expansion of a western-built aircraft fleet.
Based at Moscow's Bykovo Airport, the carrier has reportedly taken in seven Embraer 120 aircraft that will be deployed on a network of Russian domestic air routes from Moscow.
The airline has earlier signaled intentions to build af 50-units fleet of ATR, Embraer or Bombardier aircraft.
