Nov 7, 2008 (newstodate): The Russian airport investment company Novaport has strong ambitions for its engagement in Russia's airport sector.
The company recently announced plans to invest up to 500 mio USD in the expansion of its airport network to comprise a total of 20 airports by 2011.
In Novaport's network are already the airports at Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Chelyabinsk, Chita, Barnaul, Tver, Bryansk and Astrakhan, and Novaport has also been shortlisted for participation in the current tender for reconstruction of St Petersburg's Pulkovo Airport
