Nov 12, 2008 (newstodate): In October, cargo volumes handled at Norway's Oslo Gardermoen Airport dropped by 13.1 percent, to a total of 7,601 tonnes.
The decrease was especially strong in international cargo, down 19 percent to 4,502 tonnes, while domestic cargo also dropped 2.8 percent, to 3,099 tonnes.
For the first 10 months of 2008, cargo loads decreased by 4.1 percent, y-o-y, to 77,528 tonnes.
The over-all decreased was prompted by a 5.5 percent fall in international cargo, to 49,183 tonnes, while domestic cargo was down 1.7 percent to 28,345 tonnes.
