Nov 18, 2008 (newstodate): Fledgling Swedish airline Tor Air, based at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport, is now close to start operations.
Final inspections are currently being undertaken by the Swedish authorities, and the new airline expects to receive its AOC on Monday, November 24, 2008.
Tor Air's first Boeing 737-400 aircraft will touch-down at Save Airport today, and operations will start soon after the final tests and produceres are completed.
The business plan of Tor Air comprises both ACMI and wet-lease operations, and charter operations as capacity provider for tour operators.
