Nov 13, 2008 (newstodate): Albania's first low cost carrier, Belle Air is now operating flights between Tirana International Airport and Zagreb, Croatia.
The new route is served three times weekly with ATR-42-300 aircraft.
The new route brings the number of foreign destinations reached by direct flights from Tirana to 32, while the number of airlines operating at the airport has reached 13.
On June 4, 2008, Italian LCC Belle Air, based at Tirana, Albania, launched flights on the route between Tirana and Prishtina, Kosova.
