Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport, the prime hub of Aeroflot, is still Moscow's largest cargo airport with a total of 134,424 tonnes of cargo during January-September.
That was an increase by 15.1 percent, y-o-y, driven by the airport's international cargo, 105,944 tonnes, up 15.2 percent, y-o-y.
Second was Moscow Domodedovo International Airport with a total of 108,858 tonnes of cargo, up 13.5 percent, primarily driven by domestic cargo, 66,003 tonnes, up 13.7 percent.
Third was Moscow Vnukovo Airport with 20,634 tonnes of cargo in January-September, an increase by 14.1 percent, and also driven by domestic cargo, 17,984 tonnes, increasing 15 percent.
