Nov 4, 2008 (newstodate): German capital may lift plans for modernisation of Russia's Tyumen Roschino International Airport.
The German construction company Hochtief plans to invest more than 50 mio Russian Rubles in a project to build a new passenger terminal and an enlarged apron, modernise the existing cargo terminal and build other airport service facilities.
The airport was privatised on April 6, 2008, acauired by an investment group thought to be connected with the carrier UTAir.
Hochtief is already engaged with the airport company in working out the master-plan for the airport's future development.
