The single dominating locomotive of Finnair Cargo's tremendous growth over a sustained period, the Asian traffic lost steam in October, showing only a one percent, y-o-y, increase, to 5,826 tonnes.
That lead to a decrease by 4.5 percent, y-o-y, in total volumes - 8,879 tonnes, as loads on its second most important segment, the European traffic, also fell, down 17.4 percent, to 1,769 tonnes.
North Atlantic volumes increased by 9.6 percent to 759 tonnes, while the scheduled cargo charter traffic fell 58.9 percent to 152 tonnes.
