Nov 27, 2008 (newstodate): The CIS states will move towards close cooperation in aircraft accident investigation.
The CIS Executive Committee will convene an expert group to develop a draft agreement on cooperation in investigation of aviation accidents in order to provide a common approach to investigation of aviation accidents involving aircraft of one CIS member state on the territory of the other.
Members of CIS are Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
