Oct 28, 2008 (newstodate): Despite bleak outlooks for the world's financial and economic situation, Ukraine Internaitonal Airlines is upbeat about prospects for this winter period.
-According to our forecast, passenger traffic will grow by 14 percent, which is a positive trend considering the difficult economic environment, says Sergey V. Fomenko, UIA VP Sales & Marketing.
-The Ukrainian air transportation market is still showing positive growth rates, although the pace of growth is slowing down. The decrease of the world fuel price should be also mentioned among the positive factors for the airline business.
The volume of flights scheduled by Ukraine Internaitonal Airlines in the new winter schedule will increase to 330 a week compared to 290 flights in the same period of last year.
