Oct 20, 2008 (newstodate): The current tender for construction of a new Terminal C at Ukraine's Kiev Borispol Airport has drawn bids from six international participants.
Four Ukrainean, one Canadian and one Slovenian company are now competing in the final stage of the process, and a winner is expected to be announced within 30 days.
The new terminal will be dedicated to handle low-cost traffic, and will thus ease the pressure on the airport terminals A and B.
When the new terminal is fully commissioned, the airport's Terminal D will be reconstructed to serve air cargo handling.
