Oct 27, 2008 (newstodate): The Scandinavian markets' IATA cargo exports to North America declined in the first half of 2008.
Sweden's IATA cargo exports to North America, 15,675 tonnes, dropped 2.6 percent during the period, Denmark's IATA exports remained almost stable, up a meagre 0.8 percent to 10,694 tonnes, while North American volumes in Norway were down 11.1 percent to 3,533 tonnes.
North American IATA cargo exports constituted 26.5 percent of the total IATA export cargo volumes in Sweden, compared to 27.6 percent in Denmark, and only nine percent i Norway.
