Oct 28, 2008 (newstodate): Korea proved a strong and growing market for Scandinavia's IATA cargo exports in the first half of 2008.
Together, Sweden, Denmark and Norway generated a total of 7,295 tonnes of Korean-bound shipments on IATA carriers, and the market was growing in all three countries.
Norway came out most strongly with 3,336 tonnes for Korea, increasing 7.6 percent, y-o-y.
Second came Denmark with 2,233 tonnes, up 28.8 percent, y-o-y, followed by Sweden with 1,726 tonnes - an increase by 24 percent, y-o-y.
Korean Air Cargo operates in all three markets, now offering two weekly flights from Sweden, three from Denmark and four from Norway.
