Oct 27, 2008 (newstodate): Debt burdens are forcing Russian airlines out of business.
Several Russian airlines have lost, or will be losing their AOCs before the end of October as they are unable to pay their debts and secure safe operations.
The airlines under scrutiny are Interavia, Dalavia, Omskavia, Interavia, Dalavia, Omskavia, Krasair, Tesis, Vyborg, Aeroshchit, Irkutsk Bezbokov ASK ROSTO, Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant and Buguruslanskoye Letnoye Uchilishche.
Sereval of them will, however, be included in the new Russian Airlines after their debts are acquired at current low rates.
