Oct 22, 2008 (newstodate): Russian carrier Aeroflot-Don, based at Rostov-on-Don, is seeing its cargo volumes growing in 2008.
In September, the carrier handled a total of 271 tonnes of cargo and mail - an increase by 68 percent, y-o-y.
The carrier, fully owned by Aeroflot, added two Boeing 737-500 aircraft during the first half of this year, and will receive the first of three Boeing 737-400 aircraft ordered so far by the end of 2008.
