At a conference on the Volga Region transport system development, Kurumoch International Airport reported the significance of revival of air connections with other destinations in the Volga Federal District.
Three key measures, such as the revival of the intra-regional routes, the development of local routes and general aviation, and light aviation personnel training will serve as a basis of the new concept.
The introduction of intra-regional flights is considered crucial for the Airport's viability as well as for its efforts to establish iself as a leading air transport hub.
