Oct 14, 2008 (newstodate): Poland's Krakow Airport is expecting to see the launch of flights to Moscow, Russia, but progress is still hampered.
Opening of the route will depend on a cooperation between Polish and Russian airlines, and while several Russian airlines are reportedly keen to launch flights, Poland still needs to designate a carrier.
With Centralwing's decision to retreat from the low-cost scheduled market to charter operations only, the break-through hinges on Polish airline LOT that has so far not declared itself on the issue.
