Oct 28, 2008 (newstodate): Emirates SkyCargo will significantly increase its cargo uplift capacity from India.
From February 2009, Emirates will introduce seven more weekly flights to Mumbai and Delhi in addition to its current schedule comprising 28 flights from Mumbai and 18 flights from Delhi.
This will increase weekly cargo uplift capacity at Mumbai from 572 to 641 tonnes, and at Delhi from 306 to 389 tonnes.
From Bangalore, now served with 15 weekly flights, Emirates will add five more flights taking cargo uplift capacity from currently 249 to 302 tonnes.
