Oct 23, 2008 (newstodate): Gulf carrier Emirates is planning more flights from The United Arab Emirates to Moscow.
Effective from February 2, 2009, the carrier will add a second daily flight on the route between Dubai and Moscow Domodedovo Airport.
The carrier is currently serving the route with Boeing 777 aircraft, and the second daily frequency will be using an Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
With the second frequency, Emirates SkyCargo will add some 220 tonnes of extra capacity on the route, with cargo shipments into Russia mainly comprising flowers from Africa, pharmaceuticals from India, and meat from Australia and New Zealand.
