Oct 3, 2008 (newstodate): Croatia's Zagreb Airport is to have a new second passenger terminal ready by the end of 2011.
Emerging as the winners among 17 participants in a tender for design of the new terminal are the Croatian Construction Institute and the Croatian architects Velimir Neidhardt and Branko Kincl.
The planned passenger terminal will be built in modules allowing for expansions from initially 3.3 mio to up to six mio passengers when fully expanded.
