Oct 9, 2008 (newstodate): Six CIS states have agreed to set up a joint aeronautical authority to enhance air traffic management and safety in their airspace.
The six states are Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, now determined to establish a consortium with the responsibility for increasing coordination between the national agencies involved.
