Oct 13, 2008 (newstodate): Effective from October 30, 2008, China Eastern Airlines plans to add Copenhagen, Denmark, as a new destination on its route network.
Using Airbus A330-200 aircraft, the carrier will operate twice-weekly at Copenhagen Airport on the route Shanghai-Frankfurt-Copenhagen and v.v.
Passenger and ramp handling will be provided by Novia Denmark, while cargo handling will be provided by WFS at Copenhagen Airport.
China Eastern's cargo subsidiary, China Cargo Airlines is also adding a fourth freigher service at Copenhagen from October.
Since the start of this year, the carrier has included a stop at Copenhagen on the westbound leg of its route between Shanghai and Paris three times weekly, using MD-11F aircraft.
