Oct 28, 2008 (newstodate): The conflict between Lithuania's flyLAL and Latvia's airBaltic over civil aviation issues has been further stepped up at Riga Airport, Latvia.
Lately, a flyLAL aircraft scheduled to fly from Riga, Latvia, to Vilnius in Lithuania has beed arrested at Riga International Airport as security for alleged debts.
The action is seen by flyLAL as an act of retalitation for a Lithuanian court ruling earlier this month over the freeze of airBaltic assets in Lithuania.
