Jan 11, 2008 (newstodate): Effective from March 20, 2008, Singapore Airlines will launch flights on a new route from Singapore via Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Houston,USA.
The airline will operate the route four times a week, using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
Also with effect from March 20, 2008, the frequency of the Singapore Moscow Domodedovo flights operated by Singapore Airlines will increase to daily services.
-Moscow is becoming a strategically important destination for Singapore Airlines as it brings together one of the largest industrial centres in the United States and the gateway to South-eastern Asia, says Eddie Leong, Singapore Airlines general manager Russia.
