Jan 14, 2008 (newstodate): Russian low-cost operator KD Avia is working on the second stage of its new passenger terminal at Kaliningrad Khrabrovo Airport, slated for completion in 2009.
The new terminal will boost the handling capacity to nine million passengers.
The first stage of the project was completed on November 27, 2007.
The carrier now operates a fleet comprising 16 Boeing 737-300 aircraft serving some 20 Russian and European destinations with scheduled services.
