Jan 29, 2008 (newstodate): Singapore has concluded bilateral Open Skies Agreements with Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
After this, airlines from both sides will be able to fly between Singapore and any point in Scandinavia, via and beyond to any third country, without restrictions in capacity, frequency or aircraft type.
The OSA thus provides for unlimited hubbing rights for cargo airlines of Singapore and the Scandinavian countries.
Singapore Airlines currently operates three weekly passenger services between Singapore and Copenhagen in Denmark, in addition to five weekly freighter services between Singapore and Copenhagen via points in the Middle East and Europe.
