Jan 22, 2008 (newstodate): Lithuanian carrier flyLAL has announced plans for starting direct flights from Palanga to London and Dublin.
The carrier will also launch domestic flights between Palanga and Vilnius to feed traffic into its capital hub, which is a novelty in the Lithuanian market.
The London and Dublin routes will be launched with the start of the coming summer program, and plans are to add the flights between Palanga and Vilnius by mid-May.
