News include a route between Aktau and Istanbul Ataturk Airport, to be served twice weekly with Airbus Airbus A320 aircraft and driven by demands among the many Turkish construction companies active in the region.
In this summer program, Air Astana will provide a total of 14 weekly flights to Istanbul Ataturk Airport, including a daily flight from Almaty, three weekly flights from Atyrau, two weekly flights from Astana, and two weekly flights from Aktau.
Air Astana's cargo GSA in the Turkish market, Reibel reports a 10 percent increase, y-o-y, in sales on Air Astana in 2007.
