Jan 30, 2008 (newstodate): Work is progressing on the construction of new export cargo terminals at Turkey's Istanbul Ataturk Airport.
The existing terminals were devastated during a fire in May 24, 2006, and the cargo community has since sharply criticised the slow recovery program to remedy the disastrous effects.
The new terminals are expected to be completed by April or May, 2008, and they will be operated by Celebi, Sistem, and Havas as before the fire.
Each of the three similar terminals will have 5,700 sq m of floor space.
