China Southern Airlines, member of the SkyTeam airline alliance, has announced plans to start flights between Ashkabad and Urumqi, Xinjiang.
The route will be operated twice weekly with Boeing 737 aircraft.
The new China Southern service between Urumqi and Ashgabat marks the completion of launching new flights to five central Asian countries including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
