Sep 27, 2007 (newstodate): Russia declares all major Russian airports ready to handle the SuperJet 100.
In some cases regional and local aiports will need new, extended runways, but the Russian air transport strategy already includes state financing of these projects.
Firm orders for 73 SuperJets have so far been placed.
In 2008 a total of nine aircraft will be assembled, followed by 30 in 2009, and 60 in 2010, and then the annual production capacity will reach 70 aircraft.
