Sep 18, 2007 (newstodate): From next year, Transaero will be come the second Russian carrier, after Aeroflot, to offer scheduled services to the USA.
First to come are flights from Moscow to New York and Los Angeles, but plans for flights to Miami are also in the pipeline.
Transaero's aircraft comprises one Tu-214, seven Boeing 747 and Boeing 767 and thirteen Boeing 737 aircraft.
The carrier also operates routes from Moscow to Montreal and Toronto, Canada.
