Sep 24, 2007 (newstodate): Air traffic between Iceland and Tallinn seems to be on the rise.
During September 13-17 the Icelandic company Trans-Atlantic sent 380 passengers from Iceland to Tallinn for a commercial customer.
The airlift required three Boeing 737 aircraft and probably set a new record in Icelandic air traffic to Estonia, according to a company spokesman.
Trans-Atlantic is regularly chartering aircraft to lift workers from the Baltic states building the Alcoa aluminum smelter at Reydarfjordur, Iceland.
