Sep 28, 2007 (newstodate): The Oslo-based low-cost carrier Norwegian is looking into establishing its fifth operational base at Copenhagen Airport, Denmark.
The carrier currently operates a route network out of its home base at Oslo Gardermoen, Warsaw, Stockholm, and from 2008 also Rygge Airport, south of Oslo.
Plans for adding Copenhagen as the carrier's fifth operational base will follow the delivery from 2009 of the 42 new Boeing 737-800 aircraft recently ordered.
