Sep 17, 2007 (newstodate): On September 10, Korean Air inaugurated its new cargo terminal at Incheon international airport.
Located at the east end of cargo terminal A, the new cargo terminal had been under construction from May 2005 and is now ready for operation.
The new terminal, which has one floor under and five floors over ground with 37,400 square meters of total floor space, is capable of handling 260,000 tons of cargo yearly, boosting Korean Airs annual cargo handling capacity up to 1.61 million tonnes from the current 1.35 million tonnes.
