Imports to Iceland and transit volumes grew considerably, but exports from Iceland decreased.
Thus imports grew by 23,5 percent and transit by 18,8 percent, but exports decreased by 12,5 percent.
For the first eight months of 2007, Icelandair Cargo lifted a total of 28,050 tonnes of cargo, an increase of 7.9 percent, y-o-y.
During the period, imports grew by 12,6 percent and transit by 31,8 percent, while exports declined by 2,1 percent.
