Sep 18, 2007 (newstodate): In August, Norway's Oslo Gardermoen Airport saw its cargo and mail volumes up by 14.3 percent, y-o-y, to 7,934 tonnes.
International cargo grew by 2.9 percent to 4,587 tonnes, while domestic cargo fell 4.3 percent to 790 tonnes.
In January-August 2007, total volumes were 60,274 tonnes, increasing 4.7 percent.
International cargo fell 2.4 percent during the period, to 37,808 tonnes, while domestic cargo was up 1.5 percent to 6,368 tonnes.
In August international mail volumes were 4.7 percent to 379 tonnes, while domestic mail was up 68 percent to 2,176 tonnes.
During January-August, international mail volumes were up 19.7 percent to 3,539 tonnes, while domestic mail volumes rose 31 percent to a total of 12,558 tonnes.
