Aug 27, 2007 (newstodate): Qatar Airways has now confirmed November 27, 2007, as the launch date for its new route to Stockholm Arlanda.
The carrier will operate four weekly flights on the route.
Another Middle East carrier mulling plans for opening flights to Stockholm is Oman Air that plans to start up as it takes in new longhaul aircraft, planned from 2009, or even earlier after its recent decision to lease in two Airbus A330 and one A310 aircraft as an interim solution to bridge its current capacity gap.
