Aug 6, 2007 (newstodate): Kazakhstan's airline Air Astana has ambitious plans for its fleet expansion.
By 2015 the airline will have a fleet of 34 aircraft, compared to the current fleet of 18 aircraft by the end of the first half of this years.
During H1 Air Astana took delivery of two Boeing 767-300ER, two Airbus A320 and two A321 aircraft and saw passenger volumes by 42 percent to 970,000, expecting the total to exceed two million for the full year.
