Aug 22, 2007 (newstodate): Strong over-all growth in Latvia's economy is driving the air cargo market as well.
-Latvia still does not have a strong exporting base for air cargo business, but the general ecomomic growth is driving cargo volumes up, albeit from a modest level, says Haralds Treimanis, DSV Air & Sea Latvia manager.
-So far into 2007, DSV Air & Sea has seen its turnover doubling, compared to last year, and our air cargo volumes have certainly more than doubled, especially on the export side.
-To cope with this, we have taken on three more peoplke in 2007, now totaling eight staff, says Mr Treimanis.
