The country's largest airline, Aerosvit has announced plans for acquisition of 75 percent of the shares in Ukraine's third-largest carrier, Donbassaero.
Pending formal approval, the acquisition will strengthen the carrier's market position as well as enhancing the joint buying power.
The two carriers operate a joint fleet of 28 aircraft, including 14 three Boeing 767 and 11 Boeing 737, two Airbus A-320, nine Yak-42 and three An-24 aircraft.
