Aug 6, 2007 (newstodate): LinkGlobal Logistics that took over the German Schwerin Parchim Airport from July 1, 2007, intends to turn the airport into a hub for Chinese freighter traffic.
When the airport's new management is in place, the airport intends to offer landing and handling charges significntly below current market levels, sources say.
The airport received the first chinese freighter, a Boeing 747-200 aircraft, on July 15, operating from Shanghai for LinkGlobal Logistics.
The company plans to start with twice-weekly freighter services.
