Jul 25, 2007 (newstodate): SkyEurope Airlines has today introduced its first directly-purchased Boeing 737-700NG into service.
The aircraft, the carrier's 13th of the type, is financed by Halifax Bank of Scotland. that is also to finance deliveries of three more directly-purchased 737NG aircraft planned before the end of this year.
SkyEurope Airlines is committed to take a total of 26 Boeing 737-700NG aircraft, with an option for six more aircraft.
While GECAS delivered the first 12 aircraft under operating leases, Halifax Bank of Scotland Corporates term loan financing for the airline provides the finance for next four aircraft.
