Jul 27, 2007 (newstodate): Russia's Ekaterinburg Koltsovo Airport plans to see all current airport projects completed by 2009.
The projects comprise construction of a new airport terminal, a new cargo complex, and a complete renovation of the airport's two current runways.
The airport is estimating growth in passenger volumes to be around 30 percent and is now negotiating with new potential airline customers including Thai International Airways, JAL, Emirates, and China Southern Airlines.
Finnair is reportedly also expected to launch flights to Ekaterinburg Koltsovo Airport before the end of this year.
