Jul 30, 2007 (newstodate): Air cargo and mamil volumes through Norway's Oslo Gardermoen Airport grew by 10.6 percent during the first six months of this year.
In total the airport handled 49,092 tonnes of cargo and mail, including 31,892 tonnes of international freight, down 1.5 percent, and 17,199 tonnes of domestic freight, up 42.9 percent.
In June the airport handled 8,341 tonnes of freight, up 18.2 percent, including 5,337 tonnes of international freight, up 11.2 percent, and 3,003 tonnes of domestic freight, up 32.9 percent.
