Jul 24, 2007 (newstodate): From summer 2008, Lufthansa will move its traffic from Moscow Sheremetyevo to Moscow Domodedovo Airport.
An MoU establishing bilateral co-operation between Lufthansa and Moscow Domodedovo International Airport was signed between Lufthansa and Moscow Domodedovo in July, paving the way for the majority of members of Star Alliance including Swiss, Austrian Airlines, bmi, Singapore Airlines, Spanair and Thai Airways to operate under one roof in Moscow.
Lufthansa currently offers 200 direct services from 18 destinations of the CIS, including Alma-Ata, Ashkhabad, Astana, Baku, Donetsk, Kazan, Kiev, Minsk, Moscow, Nizhniy Novgorod, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Saint-Petersburg, Tbilisi, Ufa, Ekaterinburg and Erevan, to Germany.
