Jul 25, 2007 (newstodate): Finnair has sold four of subsidiary Aero's seven ATR-72 turboprop aircraft.
The aircraft have been operated by Finnair on routes in southern Finland and the Baltic states since 1989, but are now being replaced by new Embraer aircraft delivered to the carrier.
The four ATR-72 have been purchased by ATR Leasing Ltd and will continue to fly with operators in Sweden, Serbia and South Korea.
Aero will operate its remaining three ATR-72 aircraft primarily on routes from Helsinki to Tallinn, Tampere and Turku.
