Jul 23, 2007 (newstodate): Adria Airways is seeing good results from its 3rd party aircraft maintenance business.
In the first half of 2007, the company performed maintenance work on 43 aircraft owned by other airlines, generating 64 percent higher revenues compared to the same period of last year.
Adria's aircraft maintenance centre retains its status as a leading maintenance centre in Europe for CRJ aircraft, and it is concluding a growing number of contracts for the maintenance of the Airbus A320 family of aircraft.
This year new long-term aircraft service and maintenance contracts have been signed with Air Berlin and Wizz Air, and Adria Airways is now planning to construct a third hangar in 2007 to expand its maintenance business.
